The crew was already working when I arrived.
Here's another view of the orange LOOP when it is completed.That upper section has to be cut in but this is totally different than all the benchcutting we've done on the lower part. It will be more rake and ride with liberal log work.
Here's the Google Earth version of our trailwork area. This view shows the park over by St. Lukes and Dodson.
As of 12/17/06 we still need to make the connection from the orange to the red, but there is not that much to do.
The other end closer to St. Lukes is rideable, but it needs some re-design work and of course digging.
There there is the other part of the loop, which is closest to the water tower and will allow us to turn the orange stuff
into a closed loop that extends almost all the way to the dialysis center.
Here's a portion of Joe Luby's Salisbury map that shows where we are doing trailwork.
We are working on an addition to the orange trail, which will make our current straight
line connection to St Lukes into the orange loop.
The solid orange lines represent the completed sections, and the dashed orange lines are what we have yet to go.
