I got my copy of 24 Solo in the Mail yesterday, for those of you who don't know its the Chris Eatough documentary about 24 hour racing and going for a 7th win in the 24 hour worlds.
It was a pretty cool movie, even erin who's not into bikes enjoyed watching it. The thing I like about these movies is it really shows you how small the MTN Bike world really is. There was aquite a bit of Dialouge from Erenesto Marenchin and Nat Ross. I didnt realize it at the time but when I was at the Shenandoah 100 Ernesto and his Parents were setup right next to my tent and chattin away with Erin. It was funny to see him on the DVD!
The movie really focused on the two leaders of the race, you did get to see a few shots of Brandon D., and a mention by the Eatoughs pit crew on how far back he was.
It was pretty Scarey watching Craig Gordon do his final lap, once they confirmed he won, the camera man actually had to carry him out of the woods onto the road, that was freaky-then off to the hospital.
A few Shots of a VIsitPA.COM jersey, and I did see some MTBR Celebrities enduro guys. Its really sad when you can recognize somebody by there front wheel and fork only! I was really hoping to catch some shots of our Local Hero Rob, but they were really focused on Craig and Chris.
