Well, on a whim, I'm headed off to Diablo on Thursday. They have a great deal for newbies during the week till the end of the month...DH bike rental, helmet/protective gear, lift ticket and 2hr lesson..right up my alley and pretty cheap! :rockon:
I have checked google and yahoo maps. Seems my options are 22E->33N->191->94...shortest distance at 88miles but about 2hr drive
Other options 22E->Memorial Parkway(57E)->80E->15N->94..longer at 94 miles but not much longer in time. Last option is longest at 120miles via 78E to 287 ->80->15->94 and longest time at 2hr+
Seems like no real straight way to get there. I don't mind driving 2hrs, prefer not a lot of stop and go traffic, and what I'm most interested in is the EASIEST, least complicated way to get there.
So, any suggestions from those of you who have been there?
Hope the weather cooperates because I'm pretty psyched about this day trip! :cornut:
