I bought a pass for Blue this summer &I'm trying to figure out how to get a rig together inexpensively. Actually a trade bike for bike would be great.
I have a Giant Anthem 1 (Small) I bought around Sept/Oct 2006. It was used once as a spare bike for a 24 hr. race by Matt Miller. I used it 2 seasons then bought a Trance. Now it hangs in the cellar. Somebody could use it.
OK it has:
Race Face Next -handle bar (carbon)
RF Next - seat post (carbon)
RF XT - cranks
Mavic Crossbow - rims
Hayes Nine - hydro brakes
SRAM X-0 - carbon shifters
SRAM X-0 - rear derailleur
Deore XT - front derailleur
Manitou R-Seven - fork 80mm
Manitou S - rear shock (I assume 80mm also)
Chain & gears are still good although worn, I'd say about half a life left.. The chain, not the original, I've changed them a few times, still measure passable & everything works.
I don't know what to do but I'll need a bike a little beefier than the Trance for Blue...
Not sure what to sell it for, I see a 2006 Anthem 1 XL on ebay they're asking $1290 as I'm writing this.
Kinda throwing it out there. Any ideas let me know!
