my son is turning 4 and wants to do the american standard for his b-day ride. a few years back we had over 30 riders for this. meet at 840 at 1st lot on right on top of broad mt if coming from thorpe , riding by 900. yes all trails are illegal but dakota got puppy permission.(plus its a sunday) advanced terrain but with a intermediate pace .there are some bail out points. no one will get dropped and left for dead. if you can do a loop at sals in 1hr45min or so, come on out. terrain not true beginner friendly. i will be giving a tour on the other side of broad mt after american standard loop if anyone is interested and has all afternoon. come prepared with tools, tube and snacks. fit and well behaved dogs are also welcome.
