The Wildlands Conservancy invites you to join them in planting 20 trees and 25 shrubs to permanently close a trail within South Mountain Preserve located along the wooded pools to protect sensitive wildlife habitat. Meet at 12pm at the parking lot located at the end of Alpine St. If you get there later in the afternoon, walk in the main trail, turn left at the trail intersection, cross the wooded bridge with the handrails, the planting will happen at the 3 access points to this trail. Please bring anything you would need for planting - shovel, gloves, boots, snacks, water. Wildlands will have extra shovels.
