I will be leading a 2 day freeride camp at Highland Mountain this coming weekend. Saturday and Sunday. I'll be coaching freeride skills and utilizing the new skills area built at Highland along with the freeride trails "Meadows", "Fancy Feast", "NE Style". Highland Mountain just finished to great events. 1st being The Claymore Slopestyle Challenge, The 2nd being the filming for New World Disorder 10 . The rain has been happening up there but as I've been told by the director there the mtn is in great shape. there is a new trail opening up very soon and is rideable halfway from the top right now called "hellion". This trail is a freeride jumping trail with tons of inspiration from "A line" at Whistler. I have been riding it alot this summer and it is a ton of fun so far. I can't wait to session it from top to bottom in the fall.
If any of you are into dh or just freeride you should most definitely come ride at Highland , the drive is a bit taxing but it's all worth it ....
