Well, my Trek took a dump this Sunday. Broke one of the arms of the rear triangle. The lifetime warrant will take care of it, but I'm pretty sure that it will be replaced with a carbon rear end (from what I dug up on forums). Carbon's wicked, so I'm siked for the day I can race the bike, BUT I will not be taking carbon to a few of the areas up here. So, I need to start considering a bigger bike. "All-mountain"ish to possible "freeride"ish in specs. 5"-7" frames are in my range. I'm interested to hear what people have for used bikes, what people recommend, etc. I didn't really plan on buying another bike anytime soon so my budget is unknown. I don't really have that much money, but I recognize that my Trek probably won't be running by the end of this season if I keep riding it at the mountain. So, lemme know what you've got.
