Here it is folks!! The event you've all been waiting for. The 50th (yes I said 50th) Annual Tice-Medellin Thanksgiving morning MTB ride.
Come on out on Thanksgiving morning to ride South Mountain. This is one of the oldest annual MTB rides in the world!!! Well, probably the oldest in the country!! OK OK maybe not the country but probably the state! If not the state then at least the city? my block???
Alright let's just say the rides been an annual event for as long as I can remember.
Even if other rides might be more prestigious and glamorous not many can claim to have the activities that this ride provides:
* Find Sasquatch and take his picture contest
(please no more pictures of Greg H - the judges will NOT be fooled this year no matter how believable the picture is)
* Enter your guess for the "how long into the ride before Bernie stops talking" contest. Closest time wins big prizes!
NOTE: In the event there's no winner - Bernie doesn't stop talking - the prize money will be rolled over for next year's contest (just like we've done for the past 5 years running).
* Oldest bike contest - who can do the ride on the oldest, crappiest bike. I think I've won this contest for 5 years running - blow the dust off that old bike in your garage and see if you can dethrone me - I dare you!!
So don't miss this ride. There's even talk that Joey V. will make an appearance (Joe, it's good to see you're back to wearing men's clothes again).
