I thinks that it's pretty cool that there is a website for the mountain bikers for this area. I have been to the Salisbury site a few times myself. I'm more of a rookie as I've only been there a few times in the four years that I've lived here. The trails are wild, they wear you down but I enjoy them. I would like to meet up with some MTB that are rookies on the trails. I have an old Specialized Hardrock that I use. It handles the trails ok. Well let me get onto my bitch about the Constitution. Like I said, we moved up here four years ago, right at the top of Broadway. I had no idea of the Pumping Station until until I bought my ATV. My neighbor told me about this place down along the river where he used to go riding, the Constitution. We went down there many times, we're both in our 30's and his son is 10. We never went down to cause any trouble. We all had a great time riding down there on the ATV trails. We never rode on any of the MTB trails. Like all good things, a few bad a-holes destroy it for everyone else. There was more garbage being left behind, I went down the one time and came out with three bags full of beer and soda cans. Someone got a Ford truck stuck on the trails and left it there. Anything that was worth taken was taken. Up and down Consti Drive was junk after junk, you name it, it was there. Do we not have garbage day in Allentown or Bethlehem. These people are just scum. I guess the final dumb move was the A-HOLE who was shooting at the pumping station with a AK47(don't know how true that is). Thanks for taking away something a few of us enjoyed doing. It's getting harder to find places to go riding without an hour drive and then having to pay $65 per person to ride(Tower City). I don't want to take the chance on riding at the Consti and getting caught and paying a $500 fine. Maybe fence it so only ATV's can go back there and also have it patroled checking for legal ATV's that are DNCR approved. Thanks for listening to my bitch. Please comment on what i've said, would like to hear from all. Also when we played paintball, we play behind the prison.
