Here is the switchback turn located just below the upper red trail and close to Constitution drive and the Creek area. John has been working on this switchback since we started building trails at Sals in 2004! There is a new trail section idea that will incorporate this switchback.
This photo is looking East. The creek is behind you and we'll drop along the creek and out into the woods.Then we'll climb up the switchback from your left in the photo and join the upper red.This is of course if we decide to build this trail.
This new section will have lots of cool stuff-several creek crossings,a powerline crossing, some boulder trail-like rock bits, a pretty big bridge ,a run out into the woods and a climb up an old log trail and then to the switchback.
