2008 SPRING BICYCLE SWAP MEET
On Saturday, May 3rd The Valley Preferred Cycling Center will host the largest pre-season cycling and fitness outdoor expo in the nation. This specialty flea market, which is devoted to a variety of bicycling products, will kick off the major event schedule for 2008 at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. The best cycling-related sportswear and fitness equipment from the largest gathering of suppliers and merchants in the East will be showcased on the grounds of the nation's premier cycling venue. From pro cycling apparel and equipment to kid's bikes, the Spring Bicycle Swap Meet features all things cycling, new and used and all prices are negotiable.
15 different commercial vendors such as Beacon Bicycles, Bicycle Barn, Green Mountain Cyclery, Keswick, Donnelly Imports, Long's Cycle Shop, Milano Sport, High Road Cycles, Verge, Bike USA, along with over 120 individual vendors are registered for the all-day event. More than 3,000 people attended the Cycling Center's 2007 Fall Bicycle Swap Meet and this spring, the Cycling Center is expecting a similar turnout for the largest "Spring Cycling Fling" in the nation.
Celebrate at our German festival while browsing the best deals in cycling and fitness merchandise. This event will run from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is open to the public for a small fee of $5. The Valley Preferred Cycling Center (formerly the Lehigh Valley Velodrome) is entering its 32nd year of hosting world-class cycling events and community programs.
