Yeah if you ever want to get anything meaningful done in life, take some time off from work..
Today there was a good bit of trailwork completed at Sals and lots of riding.
Joe, John and myself cleared up the big impasse of a tree right in the middle of the choppy S turn on the lower red before you hit the bottom lot. Now this turn is gonna flow way better with the possible addition of a berm-like feature exactly where it was choppy, off camber and blocked visually before.
Then we raked out the little connect where the red crosses consti at the top. If you pop out from the upper spanky just go straight across consti and hang a right 40' later. This eliminates that weird disconnected link to the nursery trail.
Then it was over to Dodson and we raked out the new yellow trail section that was cut through a few weeks ago. We still have to do the build up on some logs but this section will be SWEET when its done. (sorry for saying SWEET).
Then a few of us ( Me,Bob, Trevor) hiked out the funky gully thing that will be the orange 1/4 pipe.
OK then after that I did a ride. I was thinking of maybe a little yellow paint on a rock, ala Deer Path, "bitch #1, bitch#2...."
