South Mountain Emmaus Tralbuilding Session Monday 3/24 11am-2pm

Date:
Monday, March 24, 2008 - 11:00am to 2:00pm

Howdy. Its time to get a crew over to South Mountain Emmaus now that the weather is warmer. You can really see why this trail is needed because the other routes up to the top have the most water run off on them.

Work to be done includes bench cutting, clay moving and filling, and some minor rock work on the new Cistern replacement trail.

Meet up at the Alpine st trailhead. If you are late head in and go to the left. We'll be up on the ridge near the huge rocks.

We have tools but it would help if you bring your own. We can use spade shovels, pick mattocks and maybe a rake and bucket or two.Its possible we could use a chain saw.

Other trailwork scheduled for Sals on the previous Saturday. Hopefully, the Sals crew will show for Sals and the Emmaus crew will turn out for this event! This is the time of year to work on the trails so lets get it done while we can.

Hope to see you there. You can also inquire about this session at SMC in Emmaus.
