Lyme Info: Please Read

I had my follow-up appointment with my infectious disease doctor this am.
I'm on the road to full recover. Still have inflammation in my neck which makes for a bunch of interesting sounds, but that should hopefully clear up relatively soon.

I really want to share some stuff I learned so you can keep healthy:

South Mountain is a known hot bed for ticks infected with lyme disease (S. Mountain is Lehigh, Salisbury and Emmaus! -- in other words, practically everywhere we ride).

Please check yourself carefully. Even the rash comes in different shapes, placements and hues (some barely visible). I saw a bunch of images at the doctor's, including before and after shots of people with lyme-based paralysis.

Early treatment is key to complete recovery.
It still seems to be the case that many doctors miss symptoms are dismissive and hesitant to test for lyme.
Don't take no for an answer.

And here are some spray tick repellents my doctor recommended:

Ultrathon
Aron's
Repel

and, he said you can find these here:
http://www.travmed.com/

I haven't searched this site yet, but one of these is strictly for spraying your clothing.

Thx,
D
