This ride is in memory of the legendary Larry Reimert. As most of you know since Larry’s 60th birthday we have been doing a Mountain bike ride for his birthday and for the ride we did as many miles as he was old. This year on June 30 he would have been 65 so we will be doing 65 miles. I will be posting a shorter ride also in Larry’s memory very soon. We will be starting off in Slatington, riding to Jim Thorpe, up the broad Mountain, do some single tract on top, ride a down hill into the Lehigh gorge then putting on some miles on the gorge trail, return to Jim Thorpe for the birthday ride tradition of hot dogs and snow cones.
