well after the superchief "belt" situation, i have been feeling DIY confident. The Durango which probably gets the same gas mileage as the superchief sounds like crap when she turns left. either a CV joint or bearing issue. So what do all good DIY'ers do.....google "durango front hub" and there ya go.
rather than pay my fine mechanic a nice little fee to diagnos, repair and slap me on the back to say thanks, i head to autozone for a new one myself. Jenn is like "that's a lot of money isn't it" 180.00 bucks later, i said "yeah your right, i hope that's the fix" meanwhile i'm thinkin' "that's what hubs for out bikes go for and i can't use it to pick groceries up :ihih:
mind you, the crappy weather is coming, but i get the trusty spotlight, air gun, and i close my eyes and jump in. No woories, i think to myself as i imagine jay behind me going "see, it's pretty simple, you just do that, that and that (using typical jay hand gestures)."
well i wrap her up, and bingo, that was it. i pat myself on the back and look at my bike that's needs lube on the chain from riding this week and i say "ahhhh, i'll do it later"
my priorities need some re-aligning
well i least i got a ride in today, and completed the "honey do" list
