Interesting statistic in this week's Time magazine on page 19:
According to the U.S. Department of Commerce American spending on bicycles has risen 9% since the Great Recession began in 2007 while that for new cars has fallen 12%.
I had a feeling I've seen more bike racks on cars in recent years. And I can definitely say I've done my part as a patriotic American consumer to help the economy.
