I should be all healed up & ready to ride this spring. I currently only have one bike which is a dedicated xc bike, this bike see's mostly work on flats with some light trail/singletrack riding mixed in. I plan to pick more of a all mountain set up with platform pedals this spring to take advantage of some of the more technical trails & do some more aggressive riding. I plan to do alot of riding this year & just wanted to know how many keep two or more different bikes for different purposes ie a downhill bike/xc bike in your garage etc...
I'm thinking of buying the trek scratch air 8, it seems like a great all around do everything bike & I like trek's warranty on frames. I'm also getting the jeep ready with a new bike rack that can carry more bikes. My best friend bought a mountain bike & is anxiously waiting for me to start riding again & my wife has expressed interest in riding, though I plan to start her out on something cheap & if she sticks with it then invest in a good bike for her, because she gets bored with things easily. I also have a son that I'm sure will love to tackle the trails when he's older. So I can look forward to many more years of interesting riding :cornut:
Once, I'm back in shape I'll join you guys for some events. I don't want to come out until I have my conditioning back up, which might take a few months after a year sitting around doing no cardio :poke:
