Hard to believe now when you pull into the Tower Road lot and see 15+ cars with bike racks there whose owners are taking advantage of 10+ miles of trail but exactly one year ago, Sunday morning, 9-26-2010, we were just corridor clearing the trailhead into an underutilized section of the park.
In the year since I've met and worked alongside a lot of great people in all kinds of weather helping to bring mountain biking to Upper Bucks County. It's been a blast helping build some really sweet trail - I've definitely learned quite a bit in the process.

L Kenny for the two years of work he did to get approval for trails at Nockamixon. Thanks also to Park Manager Obie Derr and DCNR for their unwavering support of VMB's efforts and mountain biking in general. Finally, thanks to everyone in VMB, PMBA (and others) who has ever picked up a shovel, swung a pickaxe, hauled rock, or worked a saw at Nockamixon to build the first-class VMB trail system there that families/first-time mtbrs and experienced riders alike now enjoy. We have a lot to be proud of. :thumbsup:
