Have some business meetings in Scranton on Weds AM. Want to bring my bike and ride a few hours in the area after the meetings before heading back to Northern NJ. Looking for anything from Sals-type singletrack, to scenic rail trails. I checked MTBR.com and found minor references to a few places, but the rail trail sounded weak, and the Hubbard park details re: singletrack were supposedly at the website of a local club, but the website is not yet live. Overall, didn't sound like much MTB going on there?
Any advice/guidance appreciated. If there's nothing there, I may head south to JT or Allentown, but would prefer to stay near Scranton so as to make back to NJ late afternoon with minimal extra driving.
