In the latest issue of DirtRag is an article about DORBA's Fall Race Series at Big Cedar Wilderness in Dallas Tx. Big Cedar is where I broke my collar bone. My tour guide "Shadow" is one of the driving forces behind the building of the trails on the property of the Mountain Creek Community Church. This was just one of the places he showed me around during my stay there. He even let me use his Gary Fisher Superfly during my stay. Yep I crashed it pretty hard when I busted my clavicle. Luckily (for him) the only thing broke was bone. My accident happened about 2 miles in. Hopefully next time I will be able to ride more of it, but what I rode was really fun. At the time, they were still in the process of completing the 12 miles DR described in the article. The pump track and dirt jumps were also still in the process of building. I am looking forward to giving Big Cedar another shot as well as the other systems when my job sends me back there on biz.
