We'll yesterday i went into the city and got there in record time since i drove. The plan was to meet up with Jamie again who was ordered to hydrate before my arrival (see 2 blogs ago to see why). Sarah and i met him on the west side of the GW bridge at fort Lee historical park. We did a 3hr ride up river road into the palisades. It was ridiculous to see how many roadies were out. Looked like a benefit ride was going on . We got to the car free part of river road where we came across a huge rock slide blocking the road. this took literally 5 minutes to get over. We then hit some big rollers in the palisades and a nice stone bike path. This path was were i hit my max heart rate. Not because of an effort but because of who we saw. We were tipped off about 100yrds back that Juliana Morre was up ahead. Sure enough , she was taking a walk with 2 little kids and another lady. She was as hot in person as in the movies. I tilted my huge green glasses to make sure it was her , said good day and rolled on . I think i heard her say " Hey i think thats veganrob " . yeah right. The rest of the ride was real scenic and uneventful. We headed to brooklyn to wash up and had an awesome dinner at a place called the Vspot. With a name like that it had to rock. Amazing vegan menu. Food in nyc has got to be the biggert pro of city life. After dinner we all pretended we were still teens and went to see the punk band the queers. Wont bore you with show details other than that it was just like the good old days.
