sponsored by DCNR I've been rebuilding the Scout trail. a Small spur that connects from the top of Big Pocono and South Trail.
Some of the works are; building a natural rock crib wall with natural step down..
removing a natural staircase and reclaiming the ground
constructing with all natural material a bermed J turn near the connection to South Trail
layering the entire trail with a gravel sand mixture called "Trail Mix" very cool 3/4 minus material that
packs hard like concrete.
removing a staircase, then rebuilding it making it safer to walk, bike on....
