Hello all SME is going to get some more improvements. A short 8 foot section of bridge and some rock work is going to be installed on the right hand side of the orange loop to address a muddy area before the primary stream crossing in the climbing switch back sections. This is the area where there are 3 lines to cross the muddy area before the stream crossing. Starting on the downhill side there is a a low (very muddy), middle (less muddy and rocky), and upper (not muddy but very rocky line). The goal is to make the lowest line less prone to erosion and widening especially in winter and spring and give beginners/intermediates and hikers a passable line through this area. The section of bridge is currently located on the new reroute of orange further down the hill. We will need 6-8 volunteers to move this into place. Thanks everyone for your help.
